Grainne won FOLK ARTIST OF THE YEAR (and was nominated for Album Of The Year and Female Vocalist Of The Year) at the 2009 Durham Region Music Awards.
In 2008 she was nominated for "Best Country Song" and a finalist for "Best Live" at the Toronto Independent Music Awards. She was also the winner of the Paragon Singer Songwriter Competition in May of 2008.
